JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Multimedia Technician to join our team. As a Multimedia Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the creation and delivery of high quality multimedia content for our electronic and online learning platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, proficiency in multimedia software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with instructional designers and other team members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with instructional designers to produce engaging multimedia content, including audio, video, animations, and interactive elements.
  • Operate and maintain audio-visual equipment for recording and editing purposes.
  • Edit and enhance multimedia content using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Ensure that all multimedia content meets quality standards and aligns with instructional design requirements.
  • Provide technical support during live virtual events, webinars, and online training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve multimedia-related issues to ensure seamless content delivery.
  • Manage and maintain multimedia equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording devices.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure multimedia elements align with instructional goals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized multimedia services when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Product Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Digital Media is preferred, or relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in multimedia production and post-production.
  • Familiarity with the creation of multimedia content for educational purposes is a plus.
  • Proficient in multimedia editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and live streaming technologies.
  • Familiarity with SCORM compliance in multimedia content.
  • Strong creative and artistic abilities to enhance the visual and auditory aspects of e-learning content.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to translate technical information into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
