Job Overview
As the SEO Coordinator, you will oversee and execute SEO strategies, content creation, and website optimisation for multiple departments of the client's business. This role requires a keen understanding of search engine optimisation, content strategy and website management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor SEO audits, strategies and content initiatives to increase organic search visibility and traffic across the website
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and on-page/off-page optimisation to identify opportunities for organic growth
- Create, edit and manage engaging content that aligns with SEO goals and business objectives
- Optimise website performance, structure and content for maximum SEO effectiveness
- Dive into technical audits to make impactful change and boost site performance
- Work on multiple projects at any given time including new launches, campaigns etc.
- Gather and analyse data for monthly reports and insights using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush and other SEO software
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates and best practices
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across website and business
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, or similar role, ideally with experience handling multiple sites
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, including technical SEO, On-page optimisation, off-page and link-building strategies
- Proficiency with SEO tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics, or similar
- Experience managing Shopify websites and familiarity with basic HTML/CSS is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
