    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintenance of the Xero client database
    • Using the ATO Portal for lodgments and queries
    • Liaising with the accountants, clients and ATO including contacting ATO on behalf of accountants and clients
    • Generating reports from ATO (Australian Taxation Office)
    • Billing and invoice preparation
    • Assisting with phone calls and greeting clients.
    • Assist with Practice lodgments (Tax, BAS & ASIC) - Logging in and preparing tax returns jobs per tax financial year
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
    • Manage Practice databases
    • Process Practice receipts and debtors
    • Assist with the preparation of any ASIC forms and new entities
    • Contact ASIC on client's behalf
    • Calendar management and client appointment management
    • Contact clients for queries, make appointments and general assistance
    • Update client details in all the relevant databases, Add new clients to the system
    • General administration

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, administration, or similar.
    • At least 2-3 years of accounting admin experience.
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
    • A solid understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping and tax filing for Australian entities/clients.\
    • Mathematical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
    • The ability to collaborate with coworkers, clients, and suppliers.
