JOB OVERVIEW

The Social Media Ad Specialist role is focused on planning and executing best-in-class digital marketing projects across paid social media, predominantly Facebook.

A typical day for a Paid Social Specialist will see you developing a hybrid range of skills across social media, including implementing both projects and campaigns for clients. You’ll advise clients and team members on best practices and methodology as well as be able to provide a paid social media analysis of results and key recommendations. You’ll attend meetings as well and training as required. This role would suit an autonomous thinker who’s confident in managing multiple deadlines and work streams independently and effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for building and implementing paid social ads across Facebook, and potentially other social media platforms including TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Daily campaign performance monitoring, identifying and implementing new media inventory and data sources to maximise our clients' digital budgets according to the campaign KPI
  • Conduct regular account hygiene tasks across accounts.
  • Conduct social media research.
  • Recommend ad creative proposals and optimisations for client campaigns.
  • Support in weekly/monthly reporting for clients.
  • Contribute to team WIPs providing insight and optimisation recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Facebook and other social platform product updates and betas.
  • Identify and propose test and learn opportunities for clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in a Paid Social role. Agency experience is also a bonus.
  • Expertise in conceptualizing, implementing, and monitoring Meta Ads.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in TikTok Ads is desirable.
  • High attention to detail, with good organisational and project management skills.
  • Be a team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate with the entire agency.
  • An analytical mindset and comfortable with providing performance analysis and recommendations.
  • Proficient in a wide range of CMS platforms as well as working on e-commerce sites.
