Job Overview
The customer service team is responsible for ensuring our customers' needs are taken care of throughout the sales process. This involves entering orders, running reports, responding to questions, and communicating with them when required to update them on their order.
Responsibilities
• Receiving and processing customer orders
• Sending order confirmation emails to customers
• Updating customer contact information
• Answer incoming phone calls & disseminating as appropriate
• Making transport bookings for stock dispatching to the factory
• Responding to email and telephone queries in relation to customer orders
• General administration tasks such as maintaining Excel spreadsheets and word processing
• Liaising with other departments such as production Planning, QA, and Warehouse in regard to customer queries and order changes
Skills
• A strong customer-focused work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unaccompanied and set daily and weekly objectives
• Proactive, with a strong natural ability to prioritize and problem-solve
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail – Ability to enter data efficiently & accurately
• Have a strong sense of collaboration, along with a positive disposition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, along with SAP ERP software.
• Professional always, with the ability to interact at various levels of seniority
